In this film Tyler Perry plays Wesley Deeds, a man who has everything, money, a thriving business and a beautiful fiancee, the problem is that he’s not entirely happy. Why? Everything is just routine for Deeds, he does what people expect him to do and he goes along living his life like this until, he meets someone totally different, and life is turned on its head.
Tyler Perry is an actor, director, screenplay writer, author and songwriter, to mention just a few of his talents. He has directed many films, in which he also stars. His first film where he directed, acted, wrote and produced was released in 2005, it was called ‘Diary of a Mad Black Woman’. The imdb rating was only 4.9, even though the imdb point is a good indicator, you can’t ignore a film just because it has a low point, as everyone has their own opinions on what is good or not. Since then he has made eight other films where he has directed, acted, written the screenplay and produced. He is one of the richest entertainers in America. Some of the films he’s been in are; ‘Daddy’s Little Girls’ (2007), ‘Meet the Browns’ (2008), ‘Star Trek’ (2009), ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’ (2010) and he is in the films ‘The Marriage Counselor’ and ‘I, Alex Cross’, both due to be released in 2012.
Good Deeds is an upcoming romantic drama film written, directed by and starring Tyler Perry. The film will be released on February 24, 2012. It is the tenth out of eleven films directed by Perry that he appears in.
A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds, (Tyler Perry), has always done what's expected of him, whether it's assuming the helm of his father's company, tolerating his brother's misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancee, Natalie, (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey, (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works on the cleaning crew in his office building. When he offers to help her get back on her feet, the chance encounter with someone so far outside his usual circle ignites something in Wesley. This one good deed may finally spark his courage to exchange the life that's expected of him for the life he's always really wanted.
